Monetary donations
With the proceeds from the “together for pets” donation box at the checkout of your Maxi Zoo store, we support animals in need in your area.
Local commitment is important to us, which is why each store decides individually which local animal welfare organizations it would like to support with the donations it collects. Ask the staff at your Maxi Zoo store which animal welfare project will benefit from your donation.

Material donations
With our donation box in our stores, you have the opportunity to support local animal welfare directly with food, snacks and many other items in addition to the money donation box.
The donations in kind are handed over by our store employees directly to local animal shelters, animal food banks and sanctuaries.

Adopt a shelter animal
Lots of animals are waiting in local animal shelters for a loving forever home. Others were found abroad, living alone on the streets and got picked up by an international animal welfare organization. If your circumstances allow it you could gift one of these poor creatures with a lovely new home.

Voluntary engagement
There are lots of ways to get involved in animal welfare, help animals and support associations. From dog walking to building fences for free running areas or helping with the maintenance of a website – find out how you can bring your personal strengths into volunteering.

With every purchase made by a Friends member, Maxi Zoo donates to animal welfare organizations. The donation amount is increased by Maxi Zoo as soon as Friends members show their app online or in a store. The donation amount is regularly handed over to our partners.
